Used Truck Sales Representative
Summary/Objective
Follows and adheres to all policies and
procedures related to Sales. This person will be conducting inside sales,
calling customers, and helping them plan and project and close sales for their
used commercial truck needs. Seeks out new business opportunities to grow sales
volume and increase profitability.
Providing exemplary customer service while developing a business relationship
with customers.
Essential Functions

Directly
responsible for outbound marketing within assigned territories
·
Maintain
company standards of 20 calls / contacts per day
·
Obtain and
Maintain CDL
·
Directly
responsible for selling warranties to cover sold trucks
·
Write customer orders and sales
contracts according to company guidelines
·
Listen to
and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or services
· Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business
·
Proposes
customer terms based on customer profitability and credit worthiness
·
Maintains
sales standards by account
·
Coordinates
sales with the other departments to work toward a common goal
·
Adheres to
company policies and procedures
·
Customer
merchandising and program implementation
·
Customer
pricing/profitability within corporate guidelines
·
Customer
terms within approved guidelines
·
Lift up to
50 pounds
·
CRM Module
must be kept up to date, sales activities recorded and fully utilized
·
Able to
get into and out of a Class 8 Vehicle
Physical Demands
While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit,
talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to
feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and
arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel,
crouch, crawl and walk. The employee must occasionally
lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and
the ability to adjust focus.

moderately loud when in the field.

Type Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hour of work are Monday through
Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Rotating Saturdays 8am – 2pm.
